A couple of Dorks

Where's Tannon

About 2 weeks ago, Miranda came in yelling that tannon was stuck in her barbie house. So Logan goes down stairs to rescue him, I am thinkin his leg or something is stuck.... Not the case.... Somehow this kid got his whole body stuck in this little barbie house, it's truly a work of magic! He really just gets into everything, I am suprised I haven't been driven to drink!!

Today my baby girl is 6 years old. I just cannot believe it! She is so full of life and energy and is always wanting to help or just be apart of everything. I couldn'tve asked for a better girl! I love her so much!! She is my little princess.

The Frog

We have a family tradition on the Anderson side that every year we pass this hideous frog around at Christmas. This treasure was bought I don't know when from us kids to our Dad. It's just ugly and needs to be put out of our misery, but alas, it was my turn to get it! So it sits now in my office on the bookshelf where no one can see it!

We get new jammies on christmas eve to were. The boys were very excited about these ones!

For a new tradition, or just something to do, the Jack family decided to make ginger bread houses. So every family made one. This is ours. We got them judged by Greg and Rhonda's bishop, who lives next door, and he chose theirs as the best. They all were so cool!! I was very suprised!!

Ok, so it's been a while, so here is some stuff we did for the past week or so. We had Christmas here with Logan's family on Christmas Eve. Alyssa, Adam and thier fam and Keats and Melanie all came. We went to my mom's on Christmas morning and celebrated there. Ate some gruel (sp), which is ALWAYS a hit! Loved that! We went over to Logan's parents the next day and rode bikes around the 2 surrounding lots by there house. Kids really enjoyed that! It was very cold though! We have been hanging out and doing lots and lots of cleaning and nothing. But enjoying all of it!

Miranda recieved 3 awards at the end of the year assembly. She got a music award, Student of the Month (for November) and perfect attendance! She is such a special little girl! She loves music, so that didn't suprise me, however, student of the month was a little puzzling, since she comes home often with a "yellow" sticker for talking..... wonder where she gets that from!!

I am so proud of her!

For Christmas, Logan decided to get me a new sink and faucet. Doesn't sound too spectacular until you see what I have been living with! This house came with the basic sink and faucet and it barely fit 2 bowls in it! I HATED IT! I complained all the time about it. So he decided to take us to home depot on Tuesday and told me we were gonna buy the sink. He was gonna suprise me, but figured it should probably pick which one I wanted, smart man! So here is my new sink and faucet. I LOVE IT!! THANK YOU LOGAN! I am so happy, its retarded how excited I am

Birthday Party

We had a birthday party for Derek (Heather's son) and Trevor (Brandon's son) on Friday night and Brandon's house. Heather made the best chicken tacos ever, well, I helped and so did Braulio (did I spell that right?) who is Heather's boyfriend. The food was fantastic and the kids had a blast running around the house and yard. It was fun! I love having family parties!! I just can't believe how old my nephews are getting! I remember when they were babies and I used to babysit little baby Derek..... sniff sniff!!

Pretty Princess Turkey

In Kindergarten the kids were sent home with a turkey cut out and told to "disguise" it for Thanksgiving. Well, I enlisted the help of my Mother In Law Rhonda, cause crafts are right up her alley. Miranda wanted it to be a princess, so we went to Joanns and got some stuff and this is what she came out like!! Little frightening, but we had fun!! Notice the detail that went into this, that is ALL Rhonda, she lives for this!!  I am so lucky to have her around to help, cause I was clueless! Crafts are not my cup of tea and they actually make me panicky!

There has been nothing exciting to report. Well, we did get a new van. Yes, I drive a van.... LOL... We had to get a new one because our current one has been deemed a lemon by Toyota because it makes a weird mating whale sound when I brake and they can't fix it. There fore they are buying it back. Hasn't happened yet, but they promise it will happen soon. So we went out and bought ourselves a Honda. Done with toyota for a while, they are not very helpful! Our new one has a DVD player which was a MUST for me! I love it! It makes Tannon so happy! Kaston still screams everywhere we go, not much hope for him, or me!! 

We are just busy getting christmas done and bought. We did decorate the day before Thanksgiving. That was fun! Our tree looks like kids decorated it!! But it was decorated with LOVE! Notice there are no ornaments on the bottom, Kaston has gotten all of them. So we moved them up. Thats all from us!

Man-Pri's

Yes, he is really wearing those pants. I did not put those on him, he found them on the floor and decided to wear them around the house. Those happen to be Kaston's 6-12 month pants. I did not let him out of the house in these, so don't worry! Just had to show them off!!

Sleeping arrangements

First off let me say that All my kids have their own rooms. But that doesn't seem to matter to them. The all congregate in Kylan's room and sleep on his twin bed. Well I guess not all are ON his bed, some sleep UNDER his bed. We have to force Tannon to sleep in his own room. It's a fight every night! And Miranda refuses to sleep in her room too. So I have given up on her. She will decide her room is OK eventually! We are tryin to decide if we should just move our spare double bed into Kylan's room so they all can sleep comfortably in there!!!

Ok, Tannon is my "special" child, he is very unique and has a quirky personality. Well this just adds to it, the older 3 went outside to play in our dirt, since we haven't landscaped yet, so Tannon runs to the shoe box to get his shoes. I assume its HIS shoes he is getting. Not so. I go outside and here he is in MY flip flops. Ok.... those don't quite fit you buddy, but whatever. Fast forward to that night, Logan wanted to go to Walmart to get some stuff to make salsa, so we load up and I tell the kids to get their shoes on. Normal occurance here, they all know how to get their own shoes except the littlest guy. So we go toward walmart and Logan decides we need to do something about Tannons hair so we go to AZ hair company. We walk in and not only notice how dirty Tannons hair is, but he has 2 different shoes on!!! OK now we are officially white trash. Thank you! I was so embarrased! Serves me right to not check what they are wearing before we leave the house!! I give up!! Gotta love the goofy kids!
